These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Veega and Veega Partner mobile applications, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Datalink Automations (Private) Limited (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.
If you use the Services on behalf of a company/entity, you confirm you are authorized to bind that entity.

2. Services

Veega is intended for riders/customers to request transportation-related services.

Veega Partner is intended for drivers/partners to receive and complete service requests.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

3. Account Registration

You may need to register an account and provide accurate, complete, and updated information (e.g., phone number, email, profile details).
You are responsible for:

maintaining confidentiality of your account credentials,

all activity under your account,

notifying us immediately of unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for inaccurate information, misuse, fraud, or policy violations.

4. User Obligations

You agree to:

use the Services lawfully and in good faith,

provide accurate pickup/drop and profile details,

treat other users, drivers, and support staff respectfully,

not misuse the platform (spam, harassment, abuse, fraud, illegal activities).

You must not:

reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with app operation,

use automated scripts/bots without authorization,

impersonate another person/entity,

upload malicious content or harmful code.

5. Driver/Partner Obligations (Veega Partner)

Drivers/partners agree to:

maintain valid licenses/permits/registrations/insurance as required by law,

comply with local transport, traffic, and safety laws,

maintain professional conduct,

provide true and current profile/vehicle/document information.

Failure to comply may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination.

6. Pricing, Payments, and Fees

Fares, fees, commissions, and charges may vary by location, demand, service type, and promotions.

Applicable taxes may be added where required by law.

Payments may be processed via third-party gateways/providers.

By using paid Services, you authorize applicable charges.

Disputes about fares/transactions should be reported promptly to support.

7. Cancellations, Refunds, and Adjustments

Cancellation policies, applicable fees, and refund eligibility may vary depending on the type of service booked, the payment method used, and the time at which the cancellation request is made.

Users may cancel a booking through the platform in accordance with the cancellation rules specified for that particular service. If a cancellation qualifies for a refund, the refund will be processed to the original payment method used during checkout, unless otherwise required by the payment provider or applicable regulations.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment gateway, financial institution, or card issuer involved. While we will initiate approved refunds promptly, the final crediting time to the user's account may depend on the policies and processing timelines of the payment gateway or banking provider.

In certain cases, partial refunds, service credits, or cancellation fees may apply. These may include, but are not limited to:

Late cancellations made after the permitted cancellation window

Failure to appear for a booked service ("no-show")

Incorrect or incomplete booking information provided by the user

Use of promotional credits, discounts, or coupons subject to specific terms

Payment processing or transaction fees charged by third-party payment providers

We reserve the right to review and determine reasonable fare adjustments, refunds, credits, or penalties in circumstances including but not limited to suspected misuse, fraudulent transactions, technical errors, duplicate payments, system malfunctions, chargebacks, or violations of our platform policies.

Where a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated through a bank or payment provider, we reserve the right to temporarily suspend the associated account and investigate the transaction. Users agree to cooperate with any verification process required by us or by our payment gateway partners.

All refund decisions will be made in accordance with our policies, applicable laws, and the operational rules of the payment gateway and financial institutions involved.

8. Promotions and Credits

Promotions, coupons, or referral benefits:

may be subject to separate terms,

are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash (unless required by law),

may be revoked in cases of abuse, fraud, or policy violation.

9. Communications

By using the Services, you consent to receive service-related communications (e.g., OTP, ride updates, alerts) via app notifications, SMS, calls, or email.
You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications where available.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data.
Please review the Privacy Policy carefully.

11. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data:

through available in-app account deletion options, or

by emailing info@datalinklk.com with subject: Account Deletion Request and your registered details.

We may retain certain data as required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

12. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Services (including software, design, trademarks, logos, and content) are owned by or licensed to Datalink Automations (Private) Limited.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal/business use in accordance with these Terms.

13. Third-Party Services

The Services may include integrations with third-party tools (maps, payment processors, communication/analytics providers).
We are not responsible for third-party products/services beyond what is required by law.

14. Service Availability and Disclaimer

Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Datalink Automations (Private) Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Services.
Our total liability for direct damages, if any, is limited to the amount paid through the Services for the specific transaction/event giving rise to the claim, unless otherwise required by law.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Datalink Automations (Private) Limited, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of:

your misuse of the Services,

your breach of these Terms,

your violation of law or third-party rights.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately (with or without notice) for:

breach of these Terms,

fraud/safety/security risks,

legal/regulatory requests,

misuse of platform systems.

You may stop using the Services at any time.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka, unless otherwise required by consumer protection law.

19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised Effective Date.
Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
